IF NIGERIA IS TO BE TRULY GREAT

The consequence of our leaders' negative action is that the country has been moving in a vicious circle of poverty, ignorance and retrogression. Whereas countries in Europe, America and Asia, etc have made earth-shaking and groundbreaking advancement in all spheres of Life, Most of African countries including Nigeria are yet to discover themselves.
In 1979, Nigeria had a buoyant foreign reserve, 32 aircraft, 25 ships out of which 19 were brand-new, AJAOKUTA STEEL COMPANY that was 98% completed, and a functional railways system, among others. By 1999, all these things had been destroyed by successive regimes, which happens to be our biggest problem in this country.

The foundation of Nigeria cannot be said to be built on rock and hence little upheavals threaten its corporate existence. The country, therefore, needs some Fundamental restructuring in order for it to have a good and solid foundation.

But this is the issue we all have been talking about "Restructuring Nigeria" but often times we do nothing about this and it leads us to the unfortunate state we have found our selves. It is popularly said that with responsibility comes accountability. The old order of secrecy, lack of accountability and corruption (i.e sharing the people's money) associated with governments at all levels does not bring about excellent democratic governance.

God bless Nigeria!!
