A CONNECTING ECONOMIC SYSTEM
To be fair with everything happening in this country now, one will notice that the process at which everything is been processed is so slow, the reason no matter how good you hustle your business to go forward it turns out not to be what you are expecting.
We need a fast connecting economic system that can facilitate the process in which our business can flow in the same speed the global world is moving.
Our government need in all capacity to provide a good understanding relationship between citizens and governmental initiatives, so that the citizens can feel freedom when they are dealing with government agencies providing support to them, this will enable SMEs to generate the kind of drive our economy is lacking.
After the Federal Government increased the Valued Added Tax (VAT) to 7.5% entrepreneurs had to double their business targets to meet up with increased VAT and the 5% that will be charged for e-commerce services where Fowler said the country is currently working on a solution for taxing the digital economy.
“We will address the issue of the digitalised economy very soon. There is no global solution to a digitalised economy.
Different countries have taken different solutions to address the problem. Nigeria has not taken a position yet. But, we are meeting to see if we can come up with a global solution that we can all adapt to."
In so many years China 🇨🇳 have tried very well in initiating this kind of parameters and this has help massively in building the stability and reducing poverty in its nation and that has made them so powerful to compete with the strongest economies in the world. So the earlier Nigeria understand this anchor points stated above the better for our economic growth.
