A mental health disorder characterised by persistently depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant impairment in daily life. Possible causes include a combination of biological, psychological and social sources of distress. Increasingly, research suggests that these factors may cause changes in brain function, including altered activity of certain neural circuits in the brain. I was in a very dark place once in my life and it was last year, I was very clouded with depression and I was like lost and I'm grateful how I overcome that phase in my life.  What's more painful is when your own family question you, that you don't have to be depressed for any reasons. Depression will take things you used to enjoy and make them feel like nothing to you.
